The Snow Flake
As the snow flake melts gently on my face,
the cold nips wildly at my nose.
My thoughts turn to Creation.
Creation? How did God do it?
Make every snow flake different.
Each one has a different shape yet
the same.
Each one falls differently, fast or slow.
Some are wet, some are large
Some are dry, some are small,
but they all appear to be gently guided by
an angel.
They fall softly and with little force.
They land gently on the ground.
The wind carries them to other places,
other fields.
Then I thought about people.
People like you and me.
Each one different but yet the same.
We each are made different and
look different.
We each think differently.
We go different places.
We all walk to a different tune.
We are carried by the winds.
The winds of time, the winds of Gods will.
These winds take us all to different places,
guide us to be led.
We are all led by something. Is it God?
Is it our own ambitions?
Let God's winds guide you.
Guide you for His will,
drive you to your knees.
So be like a snow flake,
be what God has
made you.
The snow flake's life is short,
and so is ours by earthly measures.
Are you dropping gently into someone's
life like a snowflake?
Or are you being blown with force and your will?
Let God remake you and recreate you.
Hold onto him and be guided by His winds.
