FIBRO CHRONIC PAIN SUPPORT
GROUP MINISTRY
My Testimony
Asociate Pastor Dan Beegan D.Min.

I was born the son of an Irish immigrant who got off the boat at Ellis Island in 1928 and a Yankee whose ancestry has been traced to the Mayflower.  My father, since he divorced and remarried without the permission of the Roman Catholic Church, had been excommunicated. Mom was an atheist.

Despite what the Roman church had done to him, that’s the one my father wanted me to join. My mother refused to let me join any church until I was 12. Fortunately, my mother’s mother, Grandma Ada, was active in the Congregational Church and took me every Sunday I stayed with her, so I was not a complete heathen.

At age 11, I tried out several churches in New Haven, CT, where my dad was head janitor at the Continental Baking Co. which made Hostess Twinkies, Sno-Balls and other goodies. I remember fondly those rare days when he’d bring home a pile of seconds and I could have at it with the sweets.

I ended up joining the Catholic Church and was an altar boy. While I met some grumpy priests, and some very good ones, I never, ever ran into a pedophile. Of course, even the priests probably knew my dad could kill them with bare hands if they ever wronged me. Of course, ordinary school discipline was fine, and I’d usually get a stern lecture when I got home.

From about 1970 to 1993, I took the attitude that God could do his thing and I would do mine. Where I never did anything terribly evil, I was far from a Godly person and had not been Saved.

In fact, it wasn’t until Pastor Pat and Pastor Nancie-Rose issued a call for me to help in this ministry that I truly accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. The mentoring of Pastor Nick also helped me in becoming Saved.

Like most of you, I am disabled. I have fibromyalgia, chronic myofacial pain, heart disease, arthritis and a host of other ailments that the doctors and the Lord help me deal with.

I was ordained a priest in the Catholic Charismatic Church by Archbishop Michael of Gorham, N.H., on 8 January 2006. After Michael died, the church was taken over by a convicted felon whose ordination had been declared invalid.

Myself and Father Victor Lopez separately uncovered the truth and both of us got
kicked out as our thanks. I’m now in the Orthodox Church, and hold services every Saturday night at the Brookhaven Apartments non-denominational chapel. I also am available for people who need Bible-based counseling and of course my work continues with Pastor
Nancie-rose and Pastor Pat, who both
have become dear friends.

Many Blessings to you from all of us at:

Know someone that needs the Lord?

     Send them this helpful note...

Becoming a Christian is as easy
     as ...A B C

Admit to God that you are a sinner and are turning from your sins.

Believe in Jesus by thanking Him for dying on the Cross and raising from the dead for your sins.

Commit your life to Jesus by asking Him to come into your life as Savior and Lord.

The LORD bless you, and keep you: The LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: The LORD lift up his countenance
upon you, and give you peace.
